In this lecture, Robert Fleischel, an experienced collector of antique netsuke and sagemono, will explain the origin of netsuke art and its development. He will also discuss how Chinese legends inspired the design and style of netsuke with a demonstration of few precious netsuke carved by the most famous artists.
