'Beneath the Surface: Chinese Inlay; Japanese Maki-e; and European Cloisonné Enamel' is a catalogue that accompanied an exhibition held at Liang Yi Museum in 2020. The catalogue includes entries on all 192 objects which comprised the exhibition; plus essays by Dr. Chen Yanshu (Associate Professor of Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University), Dr. Yuko Kobayashi (Senior Curator of Mitsui Memorial Museum), Guillaume Glorieux (Director of Education and Research of L'École, School of Jewelry Arts) and Michel Kamidian (Member of the Experts Committee of the Igor Carl Fabergé Foundation).
