Wednesdays are open free of charge to full-time students with prior arrangement
Children under the age of 12 are not permitted
SECURITY POLICY
For security reasons, the museum requests that all visitors register with identity documents (ID, passport, or driver's license) before entering the museum. Personal data will be destroyed within 7 days.
Due to the delicate nature of the objects on display, the museum requests that all visitors leave their belongings [over the dimensions of 20cm(w) X 15cm(h) X 5cm(d)] in the cloak room before entering the exhibition.
IN CASE OF BAD WEATHER
TYPHOON SIGNAL NO. 3 OR BELOW; AMBER / RED RAINSTORM SIGNAL
The museum will be open as usual. Scheduled guided tours, Liang Yi Talks and other events will not be cancelled.
TYPHOON SIGNAL NO. 8 OR ABOVE
The museum will be closed until the signal is lowered. If the signal is not lowered at least 2 hours before normal closing hours (6pm), the museum will remain closed that day.

Scheduled guided tours and Liang Yi Talks for that day will be cancelled and rescheduled, and all registered participants will be informed of the rescheduled arrangements.
BLACK RAINSTORM SIGNAL
If the Black Rainstorm Signal is in force during opening hours, the museum will remain open. If the Black Rainstorm Signal is in force before opening hours, the museum will be closed until the signal is cancelled. If the signal is not cancelled at least 2 hours before normal closing hours (6pm), the museum will remain closed that day.
If the warning is issued 2 hours before the scheduled guided tour and Liang Yi Talk begins, programmes not yet held will be cancelled. Scheduled guided tours and Liang Yi Talks already in progress will continue.
