An exclusive introductory session allowing participants to closely handle and examine a curated selection of traditional Japanese hair ornaments crafted using the maki-e technique from the Liang Yi Museum’s permanent collection.

An immersive, educational experience centered on appreciation and understanding by 

maki-e master Frank. The session features a professional guided demonstration, followed by an expert-led viewing of rare maki-e masterpieces currently on exhibition at the museum.

An interactive workshop where participants will have the opportunity to try their hand at creating their own maki-e pieces—a hands-on, skill-building session for those eager to explore the craft firsthand.
