In the first part of this workshop, Takahashi Akemi, qualified professional in kimono-dressing and traditional Japanese etiquette, will introduce the kimono as everyday attire as well as the art of wearing one. In the second part, Takahashi will explain the functions of individual components using an actual garment as a visual aid. Join us on the 6th of February, 2024 at Liang Yi Museum, where Akemi Takahashi, member of the Japan Kimono Dressing Skills Association, will look into the story of kimono.
