In collaboration with The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Liang Yi Museum invited Japanese master Souhitsu Hachiya, the designated iemoto of Shinoryu Kodo, to give a talk on kodo, Japanese incense culture. Along with tea ceremonies and flower arranging, kodo is one of the classical arts of refinement as well as an intangible part of Japan's cultural heritage. The seminar will feature an explanation of kodo's 500 years of history, as well as a demonstration.
