Zeng Xiaojun is known as one of the most successful ink painters of our time. His paintings draw inspiration from the literati landscape painting tradition from the Ming dynasty, and focusses on natural beauties such as rocks and trees. However, perhaps less well known to the general public is that Zeng is an avid collector himself. In this lecture, held in conjunction with the Ink Society of Hong Kong, Zeng will talk about the relationship between making and collecting art, from his perspective as a painter.
